A shop in the Brantford area is looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join their team. The company does the selling and servicing of their own equipment in the Construction and Agriculture industry. The company is looking for someone with experience working on a variety of different pieces of diesel equipment such as: excavators, dozers, skidsteers, tractors, and all types of related farm equipment, etc. If hired for this role, you will also be required to: Attend all scheduled training programs conducted by the dealership, suppliers or other personnel; Study manuals and other reference information concerning the repair and maintenance of company products; Use working time productively; Seek to improve personal and dealership image and performance at all times; Practice good housekeeping by keeping tools, equipment and work area clean and in a safe working condition; Complete records and reports such as time cards, work orders and parts requisites as requested by the dealership policies. Shift:  Days, 8:00am - 5:00pm (Monday - Friday)

Compensation:  $22.00 - $27.00/hour. Starting wage may increase based on specific qualifications and related equipment experience, and a bonus program will be in place which rewards above average billing efficiency.
