The city has less than 10 percent of Toronto's population, but gentrification is causing problems, and Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, is no exception. Located at the intersection of Highway 401 and Highway 5 in Waterloo County and the River Rouge River, it serves as an important link between the city of Waterloo and its Ontario and Quebec neighbors. Waterloo Regional Community's only train station, Waterloo Railway Station, is located in downtown Waterloo, south of Waterloo, Ontario.
You can download Grand River Transit for free or buy it for $2 at various locations, and transfers are good for up to 90 minutes. There is also a limited bus service from Waterloo Station, known as 200 iXpress, which is equipped with limited stops and can be purchased at any of the four bus stops in the city and at the two bus stations of the Waterloo Regional Community.

Various locations in Kitchener - Waterloo were used to portray the fictional city of Wessex in Ontario in the Canadian TV sitcom Dan the Mayor starring Corner Gas star Fred Ewanuick. The community of Waterloo in small Waterloo County consisted mainly of Mennonites from Pennsylvania, immigrants directly from Germany, who brought in money. Berlin (today Waterloo) had a strong German heritage before the city, which is now part of the Waterloo region, due to the presence of German-speaking immigrants from the region.
The Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest may not be as popular as the Munich Oktoberfest, which is an international spectacle, but it is celebrated as one of the most important events in the city's history, and that makes it unique in Ontario. In addition to celebrating its heritage as a city of German-Americans, it also celebrates its history as an important part of Canada's heritage.
The remainder of the Oktoberfest in Kitchener - Waterloo will run over three days, from Saturday 9 September to Sunday 1 October, and then spread over the weekend of 10 and 11 October.

It starts at the Conestoga Mall and is an expressway known locally as the Conestedoga Parkway, but not marked as such. It circles the town of Kitchener, starts at the train station and leads back to its original terminus. It runs on a similar route to Line 7, stopping at Cambridge, Waterloo, St Catharines, Kingston, Windsor, Guelph, Toronto, Hamilton and KitchenER. The stations are located in the west of the city, near the University of Waterloo and the Waterloo Regional Centre, and in the city centre.
To the east, the Waterloo gauge reaches its final terminus at the University of Waterloo Regional Centre and to the west, it ends at Waterloo Station.
King, Weber and Westmount are the main EW roads in Kitchener, and on Union Street they become the main thoroughfares of Waterloo, where they are called N.S. King and Weber (WestMount), is the main EW road in Waterloo and becomes the main thoroughfare of Union Street (Waterloo Station), where it is called the "N" and "S" on the Waterloo gauge, and the east and west EW lanes at the University of Ontario Medical Centre and Waterloo Regional Centre, respectively. Queen Street (King & Weber) - King Weber / West Mountains are among the most important streets in Kitchener. On the streets of Union (Queen St. and Union St).
At the intersection of King Street (foreground), the names have been changed to N.S. King and Weber (WestMount) and Queen St. (King & Weber / WestMountains). Public transit routes will connect the eastern and western lanes of the University of Ontario Medical Centre and Waterloo Regional Centre to Kitchener city centre.
